Tom Tom Club, il ritorno

Chris Frantz e Tina Weymout (Talking Heads), dopo essere entrati nella Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nel 2002, tornano con un EP (5 brani inediti e 4 remix).

Il singolo DOWNTOWN ROCKERS è un omaggio alle band che hanno caretterizzato la scena newyorkese “downtown” negli anni ’70, dai Velvet Underground ai Talking Heads, Patti Smith, The Ramones… Chris e sua moglie Tina sono stati membri del leggendario progetto anglo-americano Talking Head assieme al talentuoso David Byrne. Come Tom Tom Club hanno all’attivo già 5 album in studio, ma tolto un disco live del 2003, a livello di inediti erano fermi dal 2000.
